I made these from Peas and Thank You blog for K’s teacher and staff for their monthly staff meeting. Check out her recipe here.
Then I got tired of putting the sticks in and dipping the cake pops one at a time into the chocolate, so I turned them into chocolate balls. Insert joke here. Or, read on and I will provide one for you.
I have never seen a full episode of South Park in my life but I keep hearing South Park’s Chef singing “Chocolate Salty Balls.” I have my husband and his college roommates to thank for this. Go ahead, YouTube it, you know you want to.
Immature? Yes, very.
All jokes aside, these are beautiful and taste delicious! I think the teachers at K’s school are going to be very happy to have some chocolate balls cake bites. Sorry, couldn’t resist.
Hope you all have a happy WIAW. I will be back next week with my WIAW post.

They are so good! I didn’t buy a styrofoam ball and tried to prop them up on a leftover container with wholes poked in it. Epic fail. Next time I’ll buy the styrofoam. I too made more balls than sticks.
Thanks for making me laugh today–I totally needed that. (This tells you my maturity level…) Seriously though, these chocolate balls are adorable (snort!) and it was so sweet of you to make them for the school staff members.
So sweet of you! Treats like this make a teachers day (wait, YEAR!!!). I never get yummy things like this, your son’s teacher is VERY lucky!
Seriously how do you find the time to make chocolate balls for your son’s teachers staff meeting… really!! You are the do-it-all Mom!!
Thanks, Holly! Very sweet of you.
