I have been so out of the party, hang out loop for so long! Not just online either. I have literally, for the past 15 weeks been in bed by 7:30 every single night.
I am excited to actually be joining Jenn’s WIAW party today, it has been so long! Oh, how I have missed this. Check her out at Peas and Crayons.
At 17 weeks pregnant, I have finally had 3 days with minimal nausea, I am almost afraid to say it for fear it may come back with a vengeance! Nevermind with that thought, let’s get to the WIAW pics.
Breakfast:
Ezekiel bread with Horizon cottage cheese and cucumbers with balsamic vinegar drizzled on top. Salt and Pepper to taste.
Snack/Lunch:
Peanut butter banana smoothie with organic chocolate drizzled down the side. I can not resist chocolate!
Lunch or snack:
I have to eat small meals throughout the day, when I eat too much I get very uncomfortable.
Veggie sushi, nothing raw. This had carrots, avocado, and cucumbers.
Dinner:
Baked potato topped with black bean soup, avocado, plain greek yogurt. Salt and pepper to taste.
The Black bean soup recipe can be found from at The Lively Kitchen by Michelle. I highly recommend it. YUM!
Happy WIAW to ya! I love veggies and pregnant edition.

brown rice sushi! my favourite!!!! its quite hard to get them here in austria but i used to love them when i lived in london! yum!
I love your breakfast and baked potato dinner!
Oh, that breakfast- top it with bananas and we’ll talk! Is that a pregnancy craving?
……I’m crossing my fingers that the yucky nausea will stay far away from you now!
Your smoothie looks so picture perfect! Yum!! Glad you’re feeling better.
Welcome back to the party, Amy! We have missed you. I really hope you see the end of the nausea very soon–I had it only for a couple of days–I can’t even imagine it for weeks on end! Ugh. I actually think your breakfast sounds really good. Not sure I could do it in the morning, but for lunch it would be yummy. It all looks delicious, actually! Sending you some anti0nausea vibes your way.
P.S. I just heard about another pregnant blogger using Unisom and B12 supplements as prescribed by her doctor for nausea. I wonder if it would help you? Might be worth checking into?
Take care, girl.
Why have I not added chocolate drizzle to my smoothies? You are brilliant! Wishing you some good-feeling days ahead! You deserve them.
Thank you Michelle! I am hoping so, although as soon as teh post went up the nausea hit…but not to the severity as before! Thank God.
ug I’m glad you’re starting to feel less nauseous! No fun! I started feeling less nauseous around 12-13 weeks but still…most nights I still feel a bit queasy! Yuck.
Your smoothie is making me drool though!
Thanks Erin, glad you are feeling good for the most part!
YUM to that smoothie!! Never thought about adding chocolate sauce to mine! I did have some organic choc sauce with some organic vanilla bean ice cream though last night. It hit the spot!
Chocolate with vanilla ice cream is perfect!
Oh my–that is my kind of smoothie! Yum. The breakfast on the other hand, I’m not sure about that concoction.
Yeah, maybe the breakfast has weird pregnancy cravings all over it!
